God is not a man
"God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" Numbers 23:19 KJV
Throughout our lives, we are constantly disappointed by the frailties of man. People just aren’t reliable. Most of the time, we are living a reactionary life. We react emotionally when we have been betrayed, when we feel desperate, when we walk in our own understanding.
The beauty in all of this frailty of mankind is that when you do a side-by-side comparison to God it testifies to the realness and love of a God that is true to His word. What God has promised to do in your life, He will surely fulfill it. This scripture reminds us that humans are bound to let each other down but, Jesus Christ will never let us down. God is not a man that He should lie. Your blessings and the promises for your life are still on schedule, and they are bigger than ever!
So don’t be afraid to walk confidently today, knowing you will soon see your breakthrough! Your family is restored, your career is picking up, your stress is exchanged for peace abounding more and more. Let’s rejoice in the fact that God does not ever lie! And the best part of all of this is that He does not change His mind about you!
Father, thank You for being the only truth that I can hold on to! When things get hard, I know You never lie and all Your promises will surely come. I will live for You boldly and depend on You. When my circumstances lie to me You guide me in truth. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
