His Great Power
“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding.” Job 38:4 KJV
In the book of Job, Job who was deemed a righteous man by God embarks on a journey of questioning God when things go south for him. He demands for God to answer. Throughout this conversation he complains, gets angry, loses hope and ultimately regains hope when God responds.
The truth is we sometimes question God in the middle of the storm, when our circumstances are unbearable we become impatient. We blame God for everything, but God simply responds with reminding Job who He is and His great power. We don’t love God because of what He can give, we love Him because of who He His, He holds our breath in His hands and we can count on this truth that no matter what you are going through God has made a way when there was no way. Get ready to be amazed at the plot twist in your life that God will reveal—full of blessings, abundance, and joy! So let us praise Him and not question Him in the storm!
~ Wonderful Father, thank you for always remaining by my side. I believe in your greatness and I will trust in You for You created all things and You won’t let me fall. I will lift you on high in advance and receive Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
