You didn’t know? Now you know.

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What is my purpose? A frequent question asked by many. Regardless of your age, we have all had this question. Seeking for a purpose is really seeking for an identity. See to accomplish what you’ve set your mind out to do you must have a clear identity and value of who you are. This identity often shifts and changes throughout time. However, there is an identity that does not change.

In this scripture Paul reminds the church in Corinthians the precious gift of the new identity they obtained in Christ. You have obtained this same identity. A simple yet powerful reminder of who God made you to be. A glorious vessel to be a light unto the world. Whenever you feel as you are not good enough, can’t overcome something difficult in your life or those overwhelming negative thoughts linger in your mind. Remember the presence of God abides in you, that means you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, you are a new creature, there is power surging from within you waiting to be dispensed. The blessings and favor of God are pouring out in your life for you are not a common person, ye are the temple of God—an extraordinary peculiar nation!

~ Father God, thank you for reminding me of who I am in You. I don’t know where I would be without You, thank you for showing me the way. Help me to be the light and walk in my true purpose in You so that I may show others the way now that I know. In Jesus’ name Amen.
