Arise
“And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?” Joshua 7:10 KJV
All throughout the Bible the scriptures reminds us that we are co-laborers with God. When Moses was helping the Israelites get out of Egypt the Lord ascribed certain tasks to Moses so that the power of God may be glorified. When Joshua was tasked with bringing them into the promise land he was given specific instructions on how to overcome the big wall of Jericho getting in the way of their promise.
This principle has not changed today. We are still co-laborers with God. Of course we pray and believe for God to do amazing and wonderful miracles but, the key is to have faith that produces an action with fruits. For faith without works is dead. It may be the case that the Lord is waiting for you to arise in your life and take a step forward for He has already gone before you. He has healed you, restored your family, and transformed your life. You are equipped with all that you need to overcome that Jericho wall in your life. Your part in the partnership is to get up in faith and believe that as you walk your miracles will surely be fully realized as you GO! Let your actions rooted in your faith in God do all the talking.
~ Father God, thank you for always reminding me You are with me. Help me to walk in faith believing that You go before me. I will get up, receive those blessings, and back my faith up with works for Your glory. In Jesus’ name amen.
