Speak Life
“A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: And the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.” Proverbs 12:14 KJV
Isn’t it fascinating how a dog can distinguish the tone of his master. Whether a dog understands the words coming out of its mouth or not, they can tell there is something wrong. It is also amazing how scientists say that speaking positively to a plant helps it grow. It is a result of the vibrations in our voice.
The way we speak about our circumstances brings forth life or death. When you speak the right words, and not just the right words but the words of faith that come from reading the Bible, you reap the fruits of your speech. With a word, you can move mountains and change your circumstances. Speak the word of faith like Your Father did from the very beginning, "Let there be light" in your life.
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your language of love to express our gratitude towards You! Today I speak Your name, Your goodness, and Your word in my life. In the name of Jesus I command those mountains to move and declare that there be light, Amen!
