Who You say I am

So he said to Him, "O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house." Judges‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In this specific chapter in the book of Judges we see how oppressed the children of God were under the ruling of the Midianites. The reason this even occurred in the first place is because when they entered into the promise land they forgot all that God had told them to do and not do. However, even in the hard times, the Lord comes to Gideon and calls for him to help the people. The Lord called Gideon a mighty man of valor!

Although God knew the courage He placed in Gideon and what He was capable of, Gideon was so focused on his weaknesses, which did not let him see what God saw in him. There are times when we believe that our weaknesses and flaws are all that we are. God has called you a mighty woman/man of valor because that is who you really are. It does not matter how many times you think you’ve messed up or how incapable you think you are, it’s time to start seeing in yourself what God sees in you! There is a stronger version of you that is waiting to be revealed as you go and take authority over what is rightfully yours. Forget those weak titles and begin to acknowledge yourself as the person God says you are.

~ Father God, Thank you for always seeing the best in me even when I can’t see it. Today I acknowledge who you say I am. I am Your special precious chosen vessel, virtuous, bold and capable of all things. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
