Bless Him
"O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." Isaiah 25:1 KJV
When people think of prayer, they think it’s only a task for when in distress or a last resort. Sometimes it may seem daunting for people because they feel disconnected from God. This is far from the truth. Prayer is simply a conversation with God.
In this scripture, we see the prophet Isaiah lift up the Lord our God in prayer through praise. Praising and honoring God demonstrating gratitude for the good things that are at hand is a form of prayer that is more powerful than you think. The Bible tell us we enter into His gates with praise and thanksgiving. Today, think of this prayer and receive your blessings! It doesn’t matter how difficult the situation may look like. When we admire God for who He is and what He has done, we enter into His innermost courts and become transformed.
~ Heavenly Father, let my lips and the meditation of my heart lift You up always. Please open up my eyes so that I may be grateful unto You even when I can’t see it. I believe in who You are and what You will continue to do. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
