Build with Him

"Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain." Psalms 127:1 AMP

The average person works from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and those who need the extra help work more than two jobs! There are people who wake up before the crack of dawn just to make it to their shift at 3 am. We know we need money to live comfortably and to have all that is required to physically survive. However, God did not intend for the need for money to overtake our lives to this extreme.

In this scripture, the Lord reminds us that it doesn’t matter how much we try to attain something, if it isn’t God who helps us, then we build and work in vain. There is a heavenly way of building and a worldly way of building. In the world you are left with lack, never enough! When we commit our ways to doing it God’s way, seeking His kingdom and His righteousness first! He will ignite in us a new way of working. He backs you up by supplying you with more strength, witty inventions, and a smarter way. Even in your sleep, the Lord bless and increase you! If there is something not working in your life, you’ve been trying and getting no result. Let’s pause and go back to the drawing board this time with God, for He Will provide more than you can ask, think, or imagine!

~ Heavenly Father, thank You for redirecting my steps when I am stressing on building it my own way. I commit all my works in your hand and ask that You help me build according to your Will. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
