Guiltless
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1 KJV
If there is anybody who should feel remotely guilty and unqualified to preach the gospel, it would be the apostle Paul. Before Paul was saved, he used to be the chief prosecutor of the disciples of Jesus. He chased them, mocked them, and allowed for stoning and brutal killings. Yet, after Jesus revealed himself to him, the old life was dead and gone.
Whatever your past looks like, it does not matter to Jesus. God has accepted you with open arms and given you a new life. There is no time to feel down or unqualified, for in this very scripture it has been decreed and established that there is now no condemnation. Right now, you are free from guilt and shame in Christ Jesus! The mistakes are thrown to the bottom of the sea, and all God sees is your bright future that lies ahead.
You may feel unqualified, but Jesus has made you qualified. There is nothing you cannot do for with Christ all things are possible. No more pity parties! Let’s share this with others so that we may have a real party!
Father God, I am so grateful You don’t hold anything against me. Help me to love You more as I walk into my new guiltless life. Help me be just like You so that I can also forgive others who hurt me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
